About GoldenJet
With a hub in Keflavik International Airport, GoldenJet is the only Icelandic airline operating on GEFS-Online. GoldenJet was found in 2012 by Maxim Kraft, the current CEO. The airline started out small, with only 5 fleet members and 5 routes. Now, the airline is a good rival to Icelandair and Air Iceland, as-well as a partner with Europe-United Airlines. The airline is highly supportive of a more eco-friendly future, proposing the installation of solar panels on the terminal of Keflavik International Airport, as-well as being the start customer of the Boeing 787-8S, a GoldenJet-proposed Boeing 787-8 with thin-film, super-lightweight solar cells. GoldenJet is also highly acceptive of the removal of a road connection to Keflavik and the installation of a high-speed electric train instead.
